Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Detached tower of Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury Standing south of the main body of the church, the massive detached tower, one of seven in Herefordshire, was built in the early 13th century, probably as a place of refuge during incursions by the Welsh. Originally the tower had a spire, but it was struck by lightning in 1638 and replaced with the present pitched roof. The weather vane was added in 1812.
