Summary[edit]

Description

Nr. 11 der in der Dittwarer Ortschronik beschriebenen Bildstöcke und Denkmäler (siehe: Ortschronik).

Diese Pieta-Darstellung befindet sich am kleinen Wäldchen an der Steige (im Dittwarer Dialekt "Staach") links vor der Autobahn. Sie wurde 1732 von Hans Martin Both errichtet (siehe Bildstockinschrift).

Drei weitere Pieta-Darstellungen auf der Dittwarer Gemarkung stammen vermutlich alle aus einer Bildhauerwerkstatt Buscher in Gamburg.
