Mae gwlyptiroedd fel Cors Caron yn brin iawn, mae ei dri cyforgors yn fyd-enwog ac maent yn ardaloedd o fawn dwfn a grëwyd dros y 12,000 o flynyddoedd diwethaf. Mae'r cyforgors hefyd yn helpu yn y frwydr yn erbyn newid yn yr hinsawdd trwy helpu i storio a phuro dŵr ymhlith pethau eraill.
