| Description |
English: Donaldson's Hospital Building. From 1851-2008 it was home to Donaldson's School, an educational institution for the deaf and other language-impaired, in Edinburgh, Scotland. After 2008 the building was converted to luxury apartments. The building was designed by the architect Playfair. Apparently Queen Victoria would have preferred to have stayed here rather than at the Palace of Holyrood House (this might be an urban myth) |
