| Description |
English: Double Dykes level crossing A few hundred yards after the disused Methil Power Station branch has turned away from the main Edinburgh to Dundee line is this level crossing. Despite being over an unsurfaced track, shown on the Ordnance Survey map as merely a footpath, modern road and rail crossing standards demand that there shall be a full set of vehicular and pedestrian gates and at least twelve signs warning crossing users (plus additional ones not yet erected for train drivers). |
