Description
日本語: 臺南市の中心部。寫真は臺南州廳附近ょり北方市の中心部を眺めたものである。臺南市は臺灣第一の古都であつて臺中高雄などの新興市街とは其趣まを異にし，主要街路を除き其他は舊態依然たる本島市街である。見渡すことろ本島家屋が軒を連ね歐風和風の内地人家屋は極めて稀である。圖の前景に見られる本島家屋は市街地家屋の模型的なものであつて前後二楝からなり兩側は塀をもつて塞ぎ中に內庭を園んでゐるのが其特徵である。（三尾良次郎，臺北高等學校教諭兼教授）
