Chinese Sacred Narcissus. (Keady in October.) The Chinese Sacred Lily (Narcissus Orientalis Joss Flower or Flower of the Gods, is the variety grown by Chinamen for decorating their temples or Joss Houses on their New Year's Day, which occurs in February. They can be readily brought into bloom by Christmas. It is very easily handled, bears pure white flowers with a lemon or orange cup, and can readily be brought into bloom when grown in water. Per 100, $5.25 ; per 1000, $45.00. Allium Neapolitanum. Excellent for forcing, bearing umbels of charming white flowers, very useful in cut-flower work. 50 cents per 100 ; $4.25 per 1000. Anemone Fulgens. One of the most attractive and desirable flowers for winter forcing or early spring blooming. $2.00 per 100 ; $16.00 per 1000. Anemones, single mixed, 50 cts. per 100. " single white, $1.00 " " double mixed, 1.25 " Amaryllis Johnsoni. (Keady in August.) Scarlet, striped white. We have a large stock of this handsome Amaryllis which we can offer in splendid flowering bulbs at a very low price. $2.50 per doz.; $20.00 per 100. GLADIOLUS "The Bride " (Ready in September.) A lovely pure white form of the Gladiolus Colvilli. The flowers are freely borne on long stems, and can be forced into bloom at a time when flowers are scarce. 50 cts. per 100 ; $4.00 per 1000. In consequence of the severe drought in Northern Germany, during May and June, 1893, the Lily of the Valley crop will be short this year and considerably higher in price. We have been fortunate in securing from the best source of their production a fine lot of pips, which we offer in three grades as follows : Extra selected 3 year old pips of first quality, grown in sandy soil, for early forcing, $11.00 per 1000. In lots of 5000 and upwards at $10.00 per 1000. Pips grown in heavy soil, for late forcing, best selected 3 year old, $10.00 per 1000. In lots of 5000 and upwards at $9.50 per 1000. Smaller pips, of very good quality, $9.50 per 1000. In lots of 5000 and upwards at $9.00 per 1000. Lily of the Valley Clumps. Per doz., $2.00 ; per 100, $15.00. Ranunculus. French.
