Summary[edit]

Description
English: At first glance, little has changed since this photograph was taken. However, on closer inspection cars can still be seen, traffic queuing on the medieval Framwellgate Bridge and there is no sign of the massive Leazes Bowl roundabout that now dominants eastern approaches to the city centre.
