  • Significance: Built in 1938 to replace an earlier bridge at this site, Pengra Bridge illustrates the style of covered bridge adopted by Lane County during the administration of A.C. Striker (1885-1962), Lane County's Superintendent of Bridges from 1928 to 1950. Pengra Bridge contains two of the longest timbers ever hewn for an Oregon bridge.
