Summary[edit]

Description
English: Eastbound platform, Loch Skerrow Halt
Partly ruined. The reason for a station without a community nor road in, was that Loch Skerrow was a handy source of water for the locomotives at the top of a long climb and a passing loop was also required. After the line closed the buildings fell in to disrepair and were eventually blown up as an training exercise by the Army (like the Little Loch Fleet viaduct). The railway was a means of access for fishing Loch Skerrow.
