Summary[edit]
DescriptionElevated muddy track next to A31 at Ocknell, New Forest - geograph.org.uk - 711192.jpg |
English: Elevated muddy track next to A31 at Ocknell, New Forest The A31 dual carriageway is embanked along the right edge of this photo. Along the left edge is a further slope downwards to the natural ground level of Ocknell Inclosure. Between the two slopes is this elevated ledge. It appears to be heavily used by horse riders who find it easier to cross Highland Water this way than to ride through the woodland and over the footbridge. Not recommended for walking at wet times of the year. |
