Summary
[edit]DescriptionEltham railway station, Greater London (geograph 3369564).jpg |
English: Eltham railway station, Greater London The far end of this station started life as Eltham Well Hall station, opened in 1895 by the South Eastern Railway on the line from Lewisham to Dartford via Bexleyheath. In 1985, the old station was closed and replaced by the current structure slightly further east, but using the eastern part of the platforms from the previous station (the more solid-looking part underneath the buildings!). View west, near dusk. |
