DescriptionEngineer exercise of the 41st Army in Kemerovo Oblast (20-01-2020).webm |
English: Engineer-sapper units of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District during an exercise in the Kemerovo region, which took place on the eve of the 320th anniversary of the creation of the engineer troops, thwarted the offensive of the superior forces of the mock enemy.
According to the plan of the event, military engineers made a multi-kilometer march to the area of performing tasks on standard military equipment. Further, the specialists carried out an engineering reconnaissance of the area to detect explosive objects using modern mine detectors, including the Korshun explosive device seekers and IMPS mine detectors, during which they repelled an attack of a mock enemy. Then the military personnel prepared positions for fire weapons and small arms. At the end of the exercise, military engineers worked out the creation of column tracks using IMR-2 engineering vehicles, thereby providing safe passage for motorized rifle units on IFV-2 infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers. More than 500 military personnel took part in the event, about 50 units of weapons, military and special equipment were involved. |
