Summary

Description

St. Michael's Church, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland

English: Stained glass window in the sixth bay of the east aisle, depicting local saints named St Fanchea, Saint Molaise, and St Dympna. They apparently refer to Fuinche Gharbh of Rossory, Molaise of Devenish, and Damhnad of Tedavnet. Note that the Irish saint Damhnad was commonly identified with Dympna but that this cannot be hold up. Given the context, it is assumed that the Irish saint is depicted, not the Belgian saint Dympna of Gheel near Antwerp.
