Description

Signé par l’architecte Nikolaos Zahos, le bâtiment (de la fondation hellénique) rend hommage aux architectures de la Grèce antique. A l’extérieur, avec son portique évoquant l'Acropole et ses façades ornées de frises. Mais aussi à l’intérieur, avec son magnifique hall à colonnes, pavé de mosaïque et baigné de lumière blanche. La maison a été inaugurée le 23 décembre 1932.... Elle a été rénovée en 2008 pour en restituer le cadre d'origine Extraits du site officiel Sites de la maison de la fondation hellénique de la Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP) www.ciup.fr/les_maisons/fondation_hellenique
