English: The famous Femeiche, a Pedunculate Oak (Quercus robur), situated at the location of a former vehmic court (Freistuhl) in Erle, district of Raesfeld, Kreis Borken, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This listed natural monument is one of Germany's oldest oaks.
Deutsch: Die berühmte Femeiche von Erle, eine als Naturdenkmal ausgewiesene alte Stieleiche (Quercus robur) am ehemaligen Freistuhl von Erle, Ortsteil von Raesfeld, Kreis Borken, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Der Baum ist eine der ältesten Eichen in Deutschland; eine Erläuterungstafel an der ehemaligen Gerichtsstätte gibt das Alter mit 1500 Jahren an. Der früher auch Rabenseiche, Ravenseiche oder Erler Eiche genannte Baum besteht nur noch aus wenigen Stammteilen und wird seit Jahrzehnten von mehreren Stützpfeilern und Verbindungen vor dem Zusammenbruch bewahrt.
