Description
Español: Escudo del municipio de Tibú (Norte de Santander).

"Elaborada por el señor Alvaro Briceño. Significado: 1. Hacha y el machete simbolizan los campesinos de Tibú y su fondo verde la selva del Catatumbo. 2. El arco y la flecha simbolizan los indígenas de Tibú y su fondo amarillo la riqueza mineral. 3. Las tres torres petroleras simbolizan la riqueza del mismo mineral de igual manera su fondo negro. 4. Alrededor lleva una franja blanca con el nombre del municipio y el departamento."
