BURGOS 5^3 dro; á uno y otro lado de los apóstoles en sus respectivas orna-cinas sombreadas de doseletes están de bulto los cuatro evan-gelistas, mientras en el pie de estas hojas destacan, siempre enrelieve, grupos de animales, algún tanto destruidos. CAPILLA DE LA VISITACIÓN Sigúese en este lienzo de la nave, para volver á la giróla, laCapilla de San Enriqtte de que trataremos a su tiempo, volvien-do ahora á la de la Visitación, situada enfrente de la magníficaportada del Claustro, cuya descripción dejamos intentada. Erigidapor el tan famoso como celebrado converso don Alonso de Car-tagena, descendiente de aquella familia de los Santa María quetanta importancia cobró en el reino castellano. Obispo de Bur-gos, sucesor en la sede de su padre don Pablo de Santa María,cultivador insigne de las letras patrias y hombre dotado de sin-gular virtud y notable claridad de ingenio,—si no puede competiren riqueza con la de la Presentación, no es menor el interés quedespierta,
