  • Significance: The Northeast Entrance Station, built in 1935 by George Larkin and designed by the National Park Service Branch of Plans and Design, is a classic rustic log structure. It set the precedent for many future park entrance stations across the country and was featured in the 1938 NPS publication "Parks and Recreation Structures."
