Notes
  • Significance: The house is one of the early rural country houses that survived urban expansion. From 1799-1826 the house was the home of Paul Busti, an agent for the Holland Land Company and a founder of the city of Buffalo, New York. For many years the house was owned by Pennsylvania Hospital, whose original specialty was the treatment of mental illness.
