Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Fairfield Church When agriculture was more labour intensive, Romney and Walland Marshes were more heavily populated and church attendance was more or less compulsory. Services are still held at St Thomas a Beckett - once a month. The outer shell was a 1909 repair and protection job, sheltering the medieval wattle and daub beamed building within.
