Summary[edit]

Description
English: Family of fisherfolk, Llangwm, Pembrokeshire

Llangwm is a small village in Pembrokeshire which was once famous for its shellfish. It is situated on the river Cleddau on the edge of what is now the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. In this photograph, a fishing family pose patiently, while a small boy with his hand on his cap stands close by. The length of exposure needed to produce a photograph at this time meant that action shots were impossible and any movement appeared blurred.
