His Concert, representing two priests play-ing the piano and the violoncello, is in the Pitti Pal-ace ; a picture of a Warrior with another figure is in theUffizi Gallery at Florence ; the Daughter of Herodiaswith the head of John the Baptist is in the Louvre. AHoly Family with St. Sebastian and St. Catherine, witha highly poetical landscape, is also in the Louvre. Ja-cob Greeting Rachel, a picture of a graceful pastoralcharacter, is in the Dresden Gallery. The School of the Fine Arts at Yale College, NewHaven, possesses two pictures by this master, — a Cir-cumcision of Christ, and the portraits of Andrea Grittiand his sisters, painted about 1500. Andrea Gritti wasDoge of Venice from 1523 to 1538. His pictures are limited in number, as he died in 1511,at about the age of thirty-four. Many of the pictureswhich are ascribed to him in different collections areundoubtedly the work of other artists.
