Summary
[edit]DescriptionFfynnon Sant^ - geograph.org.uk - 605371.jpg |
English: Ffynnon Sant? Somewhere in this wilderness is Ffynnon Sant, a holy well frequented by pilgrims from pre-Christian times right up to, and beyond, the Protestant Reformation. Pen Llyn has much in common with Connemara and Finistere, but not when it comes to respecting ancient wells. In Ireland and Brittany the holy well, even if a little less used than in the past, would still be cared for with love and respect. Alas, not so in Welsh Wales. |
