Airmen assigned to the 76th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron offload a patient by litter from a HC-130 to an ambulance after a medical evacuation. The 76th ERQS serves as an ambulance of the air for Operation Enduring Freedom. The squadron’s mission is to provide medical or casualty evacuation and personnel recovery for U.S. and coalition forces, Afghan National Security Forces and local nationals in all of the regional commands in Afghanistan.
