Afghan national army soldiers receive medical treatment from the Farah Forward Surgical Team and Provincial Reconstruction Team Farah medics at Forward Operating Base Farah, April 23. Four ANA soldiers were transported to FOB Farah after receiving injuries from an improvised explosive device explosion which occurred in Najabad, a village in the Pusht Rod District. Of the four soldiers, one succumbed to injuries while at FOB Farah, two were transferred to a local ANA brigade medical facility, and one was transported to Herat for further medical treatment.
