| Description |
English: Folkestone Harbour signal box. This branch line to the port of Folkestone was built in 1844, with this station opening in 1848. In 1994 with the opening of the Channel Tunnel, traffic was reduced dramatically with only 2 ferry services a day leaving the port. The station closed to ordinary rail traffic in 2001 and as of 2009, Network Rail intended to close the branch, and an association has formed to preserve it as a heritage line, despite plans by the owners to redevelop the area.
