English: The Fontaine de Tourny, in front of the main entrance of the Parliament Building in Quebec City. The fountain, which was installed and inaugurated in Quebec City on 3 July 2007, was crafted by French sculptor Mathurin Moreau in 1854. It was formerly installed in Bordeaux (France), but was dismantled in 1960 due to high maintenance costs. Peter Simons, president of the Maison Simons department store chain, acquired the aged fountain, had it restored, and donated it to Quebec City for the city's 400th anniversary.
