| Description |
English: Footway by the A6 near Milnthorpe To think that all the west coast traffic heading for the Lakes and Scotland used to pass this spot.... The river Bela and the Dallam deer park put on a fine show for passers-by still. I remember the excitement on reaching this point on a day out to the Lakes from Lancaster as a youngster (we often used this route although the motorway was available). I stopped here returning south to Suffolk from Christmas in Cumbria sorry to be leaving such a beautiful area. |
