English: Ford and Footbridge The stream which this ford crosses is a tributary of Grizedale Brook. The watercourse below the road is very shallow and regularly runs across the road. Cyclists note: the surface is fairly smooth concrete with no ridges and thus can be ridden across safely when in flood. |
