| Description |
English: Forest Junction This mineral track facing junction leads off from the main Glasgow to Edinburgh (via Shotts) line further south. At this point, the left branch continued to the Eastfield Colliery, just west of Harthill. The right branch swung east and served the Polkemmet Colliery, the largest in the district. Much of the trackbed and a few sleepers remain, the rails themselves have been lifted. |
