English: Forestry Commission sign at entrance to Shatterford Wood. Perhaps rather surprisingly, the Forestry Commission regard this wood as part of the Wyre Forest. No doubt it was long ago part of it, but today Shatterford Wood is separate from the main part of the Forest. That area is several miles away and on the other side of the River Severn. 1621888. |
