Description
English: Former Richhill railway station (1 of 3)
Richhill was an intermediate station, between Portadown and Armagh, on the line from Portadown Jct to Armagh, Monaghan, Clones and Cavan. The Portadown – Armagh section opened in 1848 and closed in 1957 (save for a short stub to the Metal Box factory on the Brownstown Road). This is Richhill station 24 years after closure and before the restoration seen, in 2007, in H9249 : Refurbished Richhill Railway Station, Sandymount Road. Continue to H9249 : Former Richhill railway station (2 of 3).
