Summary[edit]

Description
English: Terryland Castle, a fortified house, Galway. This fortified house would have been built at a strategic crossing point of the River Corrib (behind), in the narrow gap between Lough Corrib and the sea. Today it is ruins, but has a new strategic location, adjacent to the Galway ring road seen to the left.
