Description

Congresso Nacional é iluminado com a cor roxa para lembrar o Dia do Perdão. A partir deste ano, 30 de agosto será lembrado como o Dia Nacional do Perdão. A lei que institui a data foi sancionada pelo presidente Michel Temer no dia 19/04/2017.

O projeto que deu origem à lei é de autoria da deputada Keiko Ota (PSB-SP), que teve o filho Ives Ota sequestrado e morto, aos 8 anos, em 30 de agosto de 1997. Depois de conhecer os assassinos do filho, a deputada e o seu marido, Masataka Ota, decidiram perdoá-los.
