Description |
English: Evening bags and purses made out of gold and adorned with precious stones were popular in the early 20th century and were produced by famous jewelry makers like Tiffany & Co. This evening bag is made of meshed green gold with twenty-five diamonds and twenty-four sapphires lining the flap. A small detachable purse is linked by a chain to the inside of the larger bag. |
