Summary[edit]
DescriptionFrittenden Road Station site (geograph 2090223).jpg |
English: Frittenden Road Station site Site of former Frittenden railway station. The station building existed until recent years but appears to have been removed with just the brick base surviving to the left. None of the railway buildings remains. The tracks would have run straight ahead just to the left through where a corrugated arched hut now stands. The line came from Tenterden and ran on towards Headcorn where it met the main line between Dover and London. The line was run by the Kent & East Sussex Railway and closed in 1954. |
