Summary[edit]

Description

I was going to do a series, showing the dimming of the left side of the moon as the #LunarEclipse progressed, but it is not really that dramatic.

So here is a quick 2-shot series showing the #FullSnowMoon (left) rising through some clouds not long after sunset at 6:25 pm and then the eclipsed moon (R) at 7:49 pm. Note that the left shot is shot at 400mm, while the right shot is a bit underexposed to bring out the shadow caused by the eclipse, and it is a cropped 400mm shot.
