Description
Deutsch: 1948 auf dem Gelände der Hydrierwerke Gelsenberg Benzin AG errichtete, Anfang der 1950er Jahre auf den Friedhof Horst-Süd verlegte Gedenkstätte am Grab der ca. 150 jüdischen Zwangsarbeiterinnen aus dem Außenlager des KZ Buchenwald in Gelsenkirchen-Horst (davon 140 seit 2003 namentlich bekannt), die am 11. Sept. 1944 bei der Bombardierung des Werkes umkamen, weil es ihnen verboten war, Schutzräume aufzusuchen. Zustand der Gedenkstätte nach Erneuerung der Hinweistafeln und Aufstellung einer von Gelsenkirchener Steinmetzschülern gestalteten Frauenfigur im Sept. 2018.
