| Description |
English: Galashiels View. Looking across the valley of the Gala Water towards Buckholm Hill from Woodside Drive, just off the Windyknowe Road. The buildings in the foreground are part of a recent residential development near the valley floor. The two bridges were part of the Waverley Line, one carrying the railway over the river and the other taking the road over the line. The three large blocks of flats on the other side are in Halliburton Place 1207241. |
