Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Dibubungkan dengan hasil karya seni rupa ternyata adat-istiadat juga menampakkan pengaruhnya yang sangat kuat. Ini dapat dilihat dari hasil seni rupa di daerah-daerah (Indonesia) terhadap kepercayaan masyarakat. Sebagai contoh motif ukiran cicak dalam seni bangunan rumah adat Batak Toba Simalungun, Pakpak Dairi, Karo, Mandailing dan rumah adat Nias. Demikian juga dengan motif ukiran kepada kerbau, kuda, dan gajah masih dapat kita jumpai pada seni bangunan rumah-rumah adat di daerah lain di Indonesia . Pahatan-pahatan batu sebagai perlambang kepercayaan pada nenek moyang yang telah diukir oleh seniman pada zamanya masih banyak bertebaran hampir di setiap daerah di pelosok tanah air.
