| Description |
English: Gate above Lincove Gate in the electric fence above Lincove Beck. Electric fences are unusual in the lakes. In this area they have been installed to encourage Herwick sheep to Heaf following the foot and mouth outbreak in 2001. There are no warning signs on this side of the fence, visually impaired walkers are in danger of a shock. Scafell Pike and Esk Pike in view. |
