Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Gatehouse Arch Mackershaw Gate, with flanking lodges. Built c.1740 for John Aislabie. There is no major access route through this part of the park, and it seems that their purpose was to serve as an eyecatcher and accommodation for park workers.
