Summary
[edit]DescriptionGatepost - Holy Trinity - geograph.org.uk - 159374.jpg |
English: Gatepost - Holy Trinity Two posts stand either side of the current entrance to the church. They may be the last remnants of the fence that originally encircled the churchyard. The holes at the top of the post suggest that something was joined there but it seems an unlikely place to secure a gate hinge. Intriguingly, this gatepost has a Star of David carved on it. |
