Notes
  • Significance: The Jacob Crow farmstead is typical of many farms in the area, which were established in the middle of the 19th century. It represents a continuous occupation of the land for more than 150 years. The scattered outbuildings were erected as needed for changing farming methods with most of the nine structures being built in the 20th century. Although the farm as a whole is quite typical of the region, the farm house is notable for its Greek Revival features.
  • Survey number: HABS WV-250
