It is one of forty-two Warren truss bridges recorded in the State and one of thirty-three identified as a Warren pony truss with verticals. It is one of two such bridges in Gordon County. Based on the context of the Georgia Historic Bridge Survey, this structure fits into the era of "historic" bridge building in Georgia.
