Description
English: This is a group photograph of a number of senior German army officers. They are standing on the steps of a building, in rank order with the four most senior officers in front. The photograph has been annotated in English with the names, ranks and commands of each of the officers.

The photograph has no original caption and may have been copied from a newspaper. If the annotations are correct, the date of the photograph can be fixed between autumn 1915 and June 1916. Fritz von Below (1853-1918) was in command of the Second Army between 1915 and July 1916. George von der Marwitz (1856-1929) was in the Eastern Front for much of the war but commanded the Sixth Corps in the Western Front between autumn 1915 and June 1916.
