Die UN-Klimakonferenz vom 30. November bis zum 11.Dezember 2015 in Paris hat sich hohe Ziele gesteckt. Sie soll sich auf verbindliche Klimaziele einigen, denen alle Teilnehmer zustimmen und die dann im Jahr 2020 in Kraft treten sollen. Die Pariser Konferenz wird als entscheidend für die Zukunft des Weltklimas angesehen. Parallel zu der Konferenz findet der Weltklimagipfel am 6. Dezember statt. „Sind die Erwartungen zu hoch? Was kommt am Ende dabei heraus? Wird es der von vielen erhoffte Durchbruch oder doch wieder nur ein unverbindlicher Kompromiss?“ – Euranet Plus und der deutsche Partner AMS haben diese und andere Fragen mit Europaabgeordneten und weiteren Gästen diskutiert. Die zweisprachige Diskussion wurde von den Journalisten Holger Winkelmann (deutsch) und Ulrike Drevenstedt (englisch ) geleitet. Außerdem haben Studenten unserer Universitäts-Partner in Kroatien und Rumänien an der Talkrunde teilgenommen.
