| Description |
This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Glückstadt, no. 32806. Glückstadt (Schleswig-Holstein) – Am Rethövel 14 – Portal der alten Admiralität – Entstehungsjahr: 1701 – Das Bild zeigt den Eingang der 2008 eröffneten Jugendherberge. Hier befand sich früher die Alte Admiralität, ein lang gestreckter, zweigeschossiger Bau auf hohem Sockel. Das alte Bauwerk wurde 2003 vom Landesamt für Denkmalpflege wegen akuter Einsturzgefahr aufgegeben und danach abgerissen. – Das linke Eingangsportal von 1701 konnte man erhalten, indem man es in den Jugendherbergsneubau integrierte. Es besteht aus Sandstein und hat die Form einer Ädikula (kleiner Tempel). |
