Summary
[edit]DescriptionGlasgow 22 at Stephenson Place, 1998 (geograph 6541560).jpg |
English: Glasgow 22 at Stephenson Place tram stop, National Tramway Museum, Crich, Derbyshire, UK. The Red Lion pub is seen under construction in the background. This is an authentic pub from the Potteries, carefully dismantled and stored for many years before funds became available for its reconstruction. Its significance to the Museum is that it doubled as a pay-office for the staff of the Potteries Electric Traction company. |
